Great Stories in the News

Has Twitter Peaked?

Since around the middle of 2009, Twitter's numbers have flat-lined, and the network is not growing as rapidly as it once was.  Aside from questions about whether or not Twitter is still growing, another issue posed by the original story is whether or not Twitter usage is up.  One person said that his Twitter usage has decreased since the network has grown to its current size, simply because there's too much chatter and noise, but others say that users are actually more engaged than ever before.

In the comments of the article, most people argued that Twitter is over-rated, sort of that it was a fad that is now on its way out.

What do you think?  Has Twitter peaked?  Is usage decreasing?  Is it too soon to tell, or do you think that Twitter really matters in the big scheme of online networking?  Post your thoughts to the comments below.

This story was found at CNN Tech.  Here's the original story link.

Quote of the Week

Talk Doesn't Cook Rice

I think it's a Chinese proverb.  Talk doesn't cook rice.

Success comes with action.  You have to do something.  Call that person who might be interested in doing business with you.  Contact that other blogger about trading guest posts.  Take action in some way every day to move your business forward.

Good luck with your business, and I'll see you back here next week.
