Great Stories in the News
7-Year-Old Raises $250k for Haiti
Charlie Simpson, a 7-year-old who lives near London, England, decided that he wanted to raise money for the Haiti relief efforts of UNICEF through a sponsored bike-ride. He committed to riding five miles around a local park and has raised around a quarter of a million dollars so far.
He wrote a letter on his fundraising web page that reads: "My name is Charlie Simpson. I want to do a sponsored bike ride for Haiti because there was a big earthquake and loads of people have lost their lives. I want to make some money to buy food, water and tents for everyone in Haiti."
And with that, support just started flowing in. It's a great story, and it really shows how much influence and change a single person can make, just a really great story. Check out Charlie's efforts and the out-pouring of support he's received as well.

Stories of Inspiration
Lifestyle Photographer Anastasia Chomlack
Anastasia was inspired by another photographer, Angela Shea, to start a "Celebration of Life," which was described by Angela as follows: "It is very often that we come across people in our community who are going through something in their lives, whether it be sickness, financial difficulties, recovery, a birth that has overcome great odds, an adoption or other hardships. Celebrate life is a way for these families to be able to document this time in their lives, whether it be to leave behind memories for those they love or to commemorate a happy and joyful time. Images that we take mean more than just a time and a place - they are a celebration of our lives." Anastasia shared her take on this inspiring project.

Quote of the Week
A Rising Tide Lifts All Boats
I think John F. Kennedy said it. "A rising tide lifts all boats."
I've seen that happen in my own business and in those around me. It's like dominos really, and as all the people around you find their way to success, you manage to find it as well.
Good luck with your business, and I'll see you back here next week!
