Become a Rockin' Sponsor

Want to become a rockin' sponsor of the Rock Your Genius network?  Here's how.

Step 1: Pick Your Week

Select and purchase the week you want to sponsor from the sponsor calendar.  Availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The price of sponsorship started at $100 for the week of July 5, 2010 and will increase by $25 per week through June 27, 2011, so it pays to become an early sponsor!  Also, note that these are the prices for sponsorship in the first year of the Rock Your Genius network, and prices may go up in coming years.

Note: The cost of the sponsorship does not include ad creation.

Step 2: Send Us Your Ads

Once you've purchased a week, email us your ads (mail to: mail [at] rockyourgenius [dot] com), and we'll add them to the website, episodes, and email campaigns for the week of your sponsorship.

We need one, thirty-second (30-sec) audio commercial.  If you do not have a commercial already created, you might consider one of the following third-party vendors.  Please note that we are not responsible for work performed by third-parties, and the cost of the sponsorship does not include ad creation.

In addition to your audio commercial, we also need three standard, non-flash banners in each of the following sizes:

• 120x600 pixels,
• 270x270 pixels, and
• 468x60 pixels.

Optionally, and in place of the 270x270 banner, you can do up to a 270x350 banner.  Also, the height of the 120x600 banner can be less than 600 pixels.

If you do not have banners already created, PointBanner.com currently offers a 3-banner package for $69 USD with a 48-hour turn-around.  Please note that we are not responsible for work performed by third-parties, and the cost of the sponsorship does not include ad creation.

Step 3: Your Sponsored Week

On the Monday of your sponsored week (before 12 PM CDT), we will begin placing your ads around the network.

Your audio commercial will be added to the beginning or end of any new episodes posted to the network for the entire week of your sponsorship (Monday through Sunday).

Your banner ads will be added to the "Rockin' Sponsor" sections of:

• The Rock Your Genius website sidebar (270x270 banner),
• The Rock Your Genius email campaigns' sidebars (120x600 banner), and
• Any Rock Your Genius website blog posts (468x60 banner).

Your banners will link to your website and will be available within these sections for the entire week of your sponsorship (Monday through Sunday).

Note that we do not guarantee a set number of episodes, email campaigns, or blog posts for a given week, as our publishing rate varies with the volume and timing of episode submissions and article availability, but there will be a minimum of one episode, two email campaigns, and one blog post per week.  As the network grows, the frequency and quantity of email campaigns and blog posts is expected to increase.
